Junior Women's Club raises thousands for Newbury Park horse therapy group

Westlake Village Junior Women's Club members presented a $15,000 check to Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship on Aug. 9 at the organization's Newbury Park ranch. The donation will be used to replace the flooring in the ranch's stable.

"This new brick floor will create a more stable and less dusty ground, which will benefit our riders who might have difficulty navigating these types of challenges," said Ride On President Frank Greico. "Now all of our riders will have the opportunity to visit their horses in the stables."

Ride On is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities through equine-related therapy and recreation. For more information, visit www.rideon.org.

The Westlake Village Junior Women's Club was established in 1968 and provides community service to the Conejo Valley.
