A female, 52, drove her vehicle into a fence and was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol around 6 p.m. July 31 at Via Rio and Via Juanita.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 27 and a female, 18, at 1 p.m. August 6 in the first block of Albion Place (male subject was also charged with grand theft); and two females, ages 32 and 29, at 10:40 p.m. August 2 at Lynn Road and Thunderbird Street.

For allegedly battering his girlfriend and causing a minor injury, a male, 37, was arrested at 10:21 p.m. Aug. 1 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

For reportedly possessing a pair of wooden knuckles, which are considered to be a dangerous weapon, a male, 18, was arrested at 9 a.m. Aug. 6 in the 700 block of Wendy Drive.

A purse was stolen from a dressing room in the 800 block of Wendy Drive between 1 and 3 p.m. July 13. The crime was recently reported.

A male, 18, was cited for possessing alcohol as a minor at 1 a.m. Aug. 8 at the intersection of Jerome Avenue and Tipperary Lane.

A male, 66, allegedly vandalized a bus bench with graffiti on Lynn Road near Via Goleta between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m. Aug. 4.

Gang graffiti was discovered on Aug. 2 in a flood control channel, on the south side of Calle Zafiro.

Spray painted graffiti defaced property in the 2300 block of Michael Drive between Aug. 5 and 6.

A bicycle was stolen between 3 and 3:45 p.m. Aug. 5 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

A vandal forcibly removed a coin box from an unlocked laundry room between Aug. 2 and 4 in the 2000 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen on the following dates and places: between 8 a.m. and noon July 31 in the 1700 block of Blossom Court; between July 31 and Aug. 5 in the 600 block of Paseo la Perla; between 4:50 and 4:59 a.m. Aug. 2 in the 900 block of Rancho Conejo Road; on July 28 or 29 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Items were stolen from inside two unlocked vehicles in a garage on Aug. 5 or 6 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata. A burglar also broke into and stole items from a third locked vehicle in the driveway.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Aug.4 or 5 in the 1700 block of Calle Diamonte (unlocked); on Aug. 2 or 3 in the 3300 block of Holloway Street (unlocked); on Aug. 2 or 3 in the 1000 block of Via Anita (garage opener and other items stolen from unlocked vehicle); on July 31 or Aug.1 in the 3300 block of Ranchwood Street (purse stolen from unlocked vehicle); on July 29 or 30 in the 800 block of Fernhill Court (unlocked); on July 30 in the 800 block of Fernhill Court (four unlocked vehicles).
