Seminary student to preach at Lutheran church

Tiago Jose Albrecht, a seminary student from Brazil, will be preaching at the 9 a.m. worship service Sun., Aug. 17 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 667 Camino Dos Rios, Thousand Oaks.

His sermon is "Jesus Christ is the bread who feeds all nations."

Albrecht graduated with a bachelor's degree in theology from the Lutheran University of Brazil in Canoas in 2006. He is presently an exchange student attending Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo.

He will return to Brazil next year to complete his studies at the seminary in Sao Leopoldo and become a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brazil.
