Save time at DMV- don't bother to go

The Department of Motor Vehicles will close all field offices on Saturdays in August due to the delayed state budget and staffing constraints.

The following local offices will be closed on Sat., Aug. 16: Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Los Angeles, and Van Nuys, as well as all state DMV offices that provided services on the third Saturday of each month.
