3 student athletes from T.O. win awards UC San Diego students Shane Poppen, Brianna Alban and Natasha Belak-Berger, all from Thousand Oaks, were recently named a recipient of the 2007-08 All-Academic Awards. The California Collegiate Athletic Association named a total of 79 UCSD studentathletes to the 200708 AllAcademic Team. UCSD had the most all-academic selections of the 11 association member institutions. To earn this honor, studentathletes must be a varsity letter winner who competed in one of 13 association-sponsored sports during the 2007-08 academic year. Student-athletes must also have a grade-point average of 3.4 or higher in a minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter units. |
