Newbury Park

A male, 35, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:49 p.m. July 25 on Greenmeadow Avenue, east of Lynn Road.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 42, at 11:20 a.m. July 24 in the 100 block of Newbury Road; (subject also possessed a glass smoking pipe); and a male, 46, at 7:30 p.m. July 25 at Rancho Road and the 101 Freeway.

A female, 40, was arrested on suspicion of battery at 1:55 p.m. July 30 in the 3100 block of Gerald Avenue.

For allegedly grabbing a 14year-old girl by her waist and breast (over her shirt) three times, a male, 70, was arrested for a lewd and lascivious act with a child at 3:30 p.m. July 30 in the 200 block of S. Walter Avenue.

A male, 23, apparently removed security tags from several items in a store with cutting shears, concealed the items in a shopping bag and left the store without paying for any of them around 3:30 p.m. July 30 in the 2700 block of Teller Road. He was charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools.

A male, 21, reportedly stole an iPod valued at more than $400 from a display case around 2:45 p.m. July 28 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

For harassing and annoying another person, a male, 39, was cited at 6:40 p.m. July 27 in the 600 block of Verna Avenue.

A thief stole and sold a motorcycle between July 4 and July 26 in the first block of Albion Place.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, a female, 40, was arrested at 6:15 p.m. July 25 in the 3100 block of Gerald Avenue.

A vandal caused $23,000 in property damages to the old Home Depot building in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road between May 15 and July 24.

A thief posed as a family member to gain the trust of an 82year-old woman, and the victim transferred money to the suspect. The crime was reported July 26 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

Spray painted graffiti was discovered on a wall on Lynn Road, east of Felton Street, on July 28.

An unknown person entered someone's apartment without permission between 2:55 and 3:10 a.m. July 30 in the 200 block of Via Mirabella.

A vandal caused $1,700 in damages to a vehicle on July 30 or 31 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On July 27 or 28 in the 800 block of Sagebrush Place (GPS unit stolen from unlocked vehicle); on July 28 or 29 in the 1000 block of Antelope Place (unlocked); on July 27 or 28 in the 2600 block of Firwood Court (equipment, cash and personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle); on July 26 in the 1800 block of Rock Springs Street; on July 24 or 25 in the 900 block of Vivian Circle (unlocked); on July 23 or 24 in the 400 block of N. Ventu Park Road (a mountain bicycle, bike rack and repair pouch were stolen from the back of a vehicle); on July 26 or 27 on Pickford Court, east of Blondell Place (three unlocked vehicles); on July 10 or 11 in the 100 block of Asta Avenue (purse stolen from unlocked vehicle); and between July 24 and 28 in the 1800 block of Fox Springs Circle (items stolen from glove compartment).

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 40, at 12:20 a.m. July 30 in the 2700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a female, 21, at 3:10 a.m. July 30 at Moorpark Road and Janss Marketplace; and a male, 45, at 9:50 p.m. July 26 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Rancho Road (subject backed his truck into a parked vehicle.)

A male, 52, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 12:45 p.m. July 23 in the 100 block of Summerfield Street.

For allegedly hitting and pushing his wife, a male, 55, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. July 29 in the 1700 block of El Monte Drive.

A male, 44, was arrested on an allegation of domestic battery at 12:05 p.m. July 27 in the 1600 block of Marian Avenue.

A male, 33, was arrested on suspicion of battering his girlfriend at 7:30 p.m. July 27 in the 600 block of Brossard Drive.

For allegedly committing battery on a police officer or someone handling an emergency, a female, 34, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. July 27 in the 1000 block of Hendrix Avenue.

A female, 39, allegedly inflicted corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant during a domestic dispute in a motel on Newbury Road around 9 p.m. July 25.

On charges of threatening someone with a firearm and being drunk in public, a male, 27, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. July 29 in the first block of Fairview Road.

A male, 43, was arrested and charged with attempted fraud, burglary and identity theft at Disneyland on July 29 for crimes allegedly committed June 16 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 26, was arrested on suspicion of identity theft at 8 a.m. July 31 in the 1200 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

For reportedly stealing a bottle of cologne, a male, 31, was arrested at 8 p.m. July 25 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 19, was cited for embezzling lost property at 11:30 p.m. July 29 in the 400 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 41, allegedly battered a police officer and resisted arrest during an investigation of a domestic incident at 10:36 p.m. July 28 in the 2400 block of Pleasant Way.

On charges of leaving her two dogs unattended in a vehicle, a female, 40, was cited at 10:32 a.m. July 24 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane.

A male, 53, was cited for disturbing the peace, after a call from a neighbor, at 10:15 p.m. July 30 in the 5600 block of Lakeview Canyon Road.

After being found unconscious on the side of the road, a male, 40, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 1:15 a.m. July 26 at Westlake Boulevard and Evenstar Street.

A male, 54, who allegedly violated the city's ordinance against camping on private property, was cited at 7:55 a.m. July 25 in the 500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A burglar broke into a home and stole property between 8:20 and 9 a.m. July 30 in the 1400 block of Calle de Oro.

Prescription medicine was stolen on July 29 or 30 in the 1500 block of El Cerrito Drive, and the thief may have returned later in an attempt to illegally enter the home.

Moorpark Road (a purse containing credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle); on July 21 at Conejo Ridge Drive, south of Willow Lane (window damaged); on July 28 in the 800 block of Kenmore Circle (three unlocked vehicles, property stolen from one); and on July 26 or 27 in the 2500 block of Rikkard Drive(unsecured.)

A trailer and everything inside it was stolen between July 23 and 26 in the 400 block of W. Carlisle Road.

The rear window of a vehicle was broken on July 28 or 29 in the 1400 block of Dorset Avenue.

A vandal threw an aerosol can and broke the rear window of a pickup on July 24 or 25 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

In a gang-related offense, spray painted graffiti was applied to property in the 100 block of Conejo School Road on July 29 or 30.

Graffiti vandal(s) caused damage to Cal Lutheran University property on July 21 or 22.

Graffiti was found on a sound wall near the 23 Freeway and Avenida de Las Flores on July 25.

Vandals marked Conejo Creek North-Willow Bend park with graffiti on July 27 or 28.

Property was stolen from a home between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. July 29 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A burglar attempted to break into a home by prying off several window screens on July 25 in the 1000 block of E. Calle Contento.

Property was stolen in the 900 block of Calle Contento on July 25 after a burglar entered a home through an open window.

A burglar entered a home through an unlocked window, removed the window screen and then stole about $600 in valuables between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. July 26 in the 1000 block of Calle Contento.

Property was stolen from an unlocked home during daytime on July 28 in the 2000 block of Channelford Road.

Property was vandalized with paint-ball pellets on July 25 or 26 in the 1300 block of Sheffield Place.

A burglar stole property between 8 and 8:30 p.m. July 24 in the 700 block of Calle Corta.

A robber entered a home and intended to steal property by fear or force around midnight July 26 in the 2700 block of Whiteridge Place.
