I wanted to thank you for your recent article and cartoon that focused on Thousand Oaks Senior Softball (TOSS).

Since your story about our softball program for men and women, ages 50 and over, we have received increased interest and inquiries, and a significant number of new participants at our Tuesday and Friday practice session.

There's an untapped source of players in our community that learned about the program through your article. With the increase in participants, we likely will to be able to increase the number of teams in our Wednesday major and minor leagues.
