USA Men's Water Polo team ready to make a big splash

The USA Men's Water Polo team, led by head coach Terry Schroeder, a Westlake Village resident, begins its pursuit of a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing on Sunday with a first-round match against China.

USA then faces Italy on Tuesday and powerhouse Croatia on Sat., Aug. 16.

The Americans go headtohead against Germany on Mon., Aug. 18.

Tournament semifinals are scheduled to take place Fri., Aug. 22, and the medal games will be on Sun., Aug. 24.

Matches will be televised on NBC and the USA Network.
