The garden was the site of an open house on Saturday, giving residents a chance to see the newly expanded garden. There are still 34 spaces waiting for green thumbs. Specht has been gardening with a friend for one year and is amazed at the quality and quantity of her produce. Working in the garden, she says, is like therapy.
