Jeffrey Newmark was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on May 31 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Jeffrey will be an eighth-grade honor student at Sycamore Canyon Middle School. He is the son of Lizz and Richard Newmark of Newbury Park.

Zach Kaplan was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on May 10 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. He is the son of Judy and Jim Kaplan of Westlake Village. Zach just finished seventh grade at Lindero Canyon Middle School.

Daniel Sturman was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on May 17 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Daniels is an honor student at Lindero Canyon Middle School and will be in eighth grade in the fall. He is the son of Ann and Elliott Sturman of Westlake Village.

Jordan Ticktin was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on May 24 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Jordan is the son of Audrey and Neil Ticktin of Westlake Village. He just finished seventh grade as an honor student at Lindero Canyon Middle School.

Chloe Krauss was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on May 10 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Chloe will be an eighth-grade honor student at Medea Creek Middle School. She is the daughter of Fran and Arnold Krauss of Oak Park.
