Under the direction of new artistic director Lesley Leighton, Los Robles Master Chorale will audition new singers during the week of August 11 to 16 for its 31st season.

Openings are available in all sections, with tenors and basses especially welcomed.

Auditioners should be experienced in choral singing and have some sight-reading ability.

The chorale rehearses Tuesdays from 7:30 to 10 p.m., September through April, in Thousand Oaks.

This fall, the chorale will present two workshops with preeminent choral conductor Paul Salamunovich.

Concerts are planned for Dec. 12 and 13, and May 1 and 2, 2009.
