T.O. resident in Olympics Will Simpson, a Thousand Oaks resident, has qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team in show jumping. Simpson will team up with Carlsson vom Dach, a 12year-old Holsteiner gelding, for the Games, scheduled to take place in Hong Kong from Aug. 9 to 21. Show jumping is the only Olympic event being held in Hong Kong, as opposed to Beijing. It will be Simpson's first time competing in the Olympics. |
