Many Mansions needs school supplies

Many Mansions' Children Services Program is seeking donations for its Backpack School Supply Program, which provides a brand-new backpack and needed school supplies for lowincome children and teens for the new educational year.

In-kind or monetary donations are accepted. The program is in need of the following items: backpacks, pens, pencils, compasses, colored markers, colored pencils, pencil sharpeners with catchers, highlighters, scissors, rulers, protractors, calculators, subject separators, scotch tape, binders in all sizes, pink erasers, and college and wide-ruled paper.

A total of 300 of each item are needed to fill enough backpacks for Many Mansions' resident children.

All donations need to be in by 4:30 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 21 at Many Mansions, 1459 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Bldg. D, Thousand Oaks.
