Actors sought for a look back at local history

The Conejo Valley Historical Society is looking for actors to portray Chumash people, Spanish explorers and early local families in a new historical program.

Auditions will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, Sat., Aug. 2 and 9 at the Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

The program will take place Sept. 27 and 28 and Oct. 4 and 5.

Volunteers also are needed to help with production, costumes, props and other tasks.
