      When the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy released its greatest hit in 1976, "The Boys Are Back in Town," it had no references to the Dallas Cowboys or Ventura County. Thirtytwo years later, however, the song very much resonates at a local level as the 'Boys, in fact, are back in town- or at least back in Oxnard.

Stueve hired as TOHS baseball coach
      Jim Stueve, a Thousand Oaks High graduate who served as an assistant for the Lancer varsity baseball team from 2002-05, has been hired as the team's new head coach, replacing Frank Mutz. Stueve spent the past two seasons coaching at Oaks Christian and currently manages the Conejo Oaks summer league team in T.O.
