Kids say 'thank you' to supporters of their food drive

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our generous neighbors of the Oakbrook neighborhood in Thousand Oaks. We also thank fellow students and teachers at Oaks Christian.

We put together a neighborhood food drive for Manna, and these people donated so that we were able to fill up the back of the SUV and more.

We read the article in the Thousand Oaks Acorn and knew we wanted to help. We first started this with the goal to promote our neighborhood help those who are less fortunate than us.

When we knocked on doors we were happy to see that some people had already donated to Manna or their church. We would like to also thank our little sisters, Nicole and Maya, who also helped. Oh, and thank you, Sandy Hays, for your huge donation and all those fresh lemons off of your tree.
