Health Fair for veterans coming

The third annual Veterans' Health and Resource Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Aug. 23 at 1701 N. Lombard St., Oxnard.

The fair will include free vision, diabetes and blood pressure screenings.

More than 60 government and community agencies are expected to attend.

The event is sponsored by Assemblymember Pedro Nava (D-Oxnard), ProCare Foundation and the Ventura County Veterans Steering Committee.

Veterans, seniors and those who care for them are welcome to attend. Admission is free.
