Air Force 1st Lt. Thomas L. Kubler has graduated from Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi. The student earned silver wings with an aeronautical rating of pilot in the Air Force.

Kubler is the son of Douglas and Katherine Kubler of Thousand Oaks and a 2001 graduate of Viewpoint School.

He earned a bachelor's degree in 2005 from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a master's degree in 2006 from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio.
