Not a good time to go out on a limb

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers 'TIMBER!'- - A large oak tree on Tierra Drive in Thousand Oaks split in half and crashed into the front yard of this home last Friday. Windows were shattered and the roof was damaged. The exact cause is unknown, but it's not uncommon for heavy branches in older trees to give way to the forces of gravity, usually after wind and rain.
