The inaugural Citrus Classic Balloon Festival will take place July 25 to 26 at the Santa Paula Airport, 830 E. Santa Maria St., Santa Paula.

Times are 5 to 10 p.m. Fri., July 25 and 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., July 26.

Spectators can watch approximately 25 hot air balloons illuminated at sunset on Friday evening, ascend Saturday morning, and compete in races through the agricultural corridor of Heritage Valley.

The festival will also include live music, children's activities and vendors with an assortment of arts, crafts, souvenirs, food, beverages, food samplings, and a wine and beer garden.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for youths ages 5 to 14, and free for children under age five.

Parking is $5 per vehicle with six or less passengers and $12 for vehicles with more than six passengers, including RVs.
