Two who give back to the community

JOE BINOYA/Acorn Newspapers RECOGNIZED FOR VOLUNTEERISM- June Glasmeier and Ed Troupe wear medals as the new Don and Doña Triunfo. They were honored during the La Fiesta del Truinfo Awards last Saturday night at Stagecoach Inn Museum in Newbury Park. The Conejo Valley Historical Society gives the awards annually to two people who've distinguished themselves in volunteer work. Glasmeier and Troupe have both served on the board of directors for Community Conscience, among other duties with groups and organizations that serve the greater Conejo Valley. Troupe also has been an active leader in the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks.
