Cabrillo Music Theater will present 'Singin' In The Rain'

The Cabrillo Music Theater will present "Singin' In The Rain," opening at 8 p.m. Fri., July 25 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The musical, directed by Larry Rabin, is based on the 1952 MGM film starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds. The story looks at how movie studios adapted to the advent of sound pictures.

Performances are 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, from Fri., July 25 to Sun., Aug. 3. There will be a 7 p.m. performance Sun., July 17 and an 11 a.m. performance Wed., July 30.

A post-show discussion with cast and crew will follow the 2 p.m. performance Sat., July 26.

Ticket prices range from $36 to $64.
