Senior Concerns to present Ultimate Dining Experience

Senior Concerns will present its major yearly fundraiser, the 23rd annual Ultimate Dining Experience, starting at 5 p.m. Sun., Aug. 3 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

The event begins with a silent auction, martini bar, walk-around champagne, hors d'oeuvres and wine tasting by Opolo Vineyards.

Seven noted area chefs will each prepare a course for the gourmet meal, which includes select fine wines from local vineyards.

The participating chefs are Tommaso Barletta of Tuscany Il Ristorante, Rustico and Riviera Restaurant in Westlake Village; Edwin Cruz of Provence at the Westlake Village Inn; John Foerster of the Hyatt Westlake Plaza; Amy McNelis of the Bellavino Wine Bar and Restaurant in Thousand Oaks; Kristin Ofeldt of Café Firenze in Moorpark; Silvain Rivet of Amuse Bouche in Simi Valley; and Phyllis Vaccarelli of the Westlake Culinary Institute in Westlake Village.

The live auction during dinner will include vacation getaways, special events, collectibles, art, gourmet dinners and customdesigned gift baskets.

An opportunity drawing will feature a Raymond Weil men's watch worth $3,500. Tickets for the drawing are $20 each and are available at Ben Bridge Jewelers at The Oaks mall or Senior Concerns, 401 Hodencamp Road, Thousand Oaks.

Tickets are $200 per person and are available from Senior Concerns. All proceeds will benefit the agency's community-based services.
