•Morgan E. Mosbey has received an Air Force ROTC (Reserve Office Training Corps) college scholarship offer to attend college or university.

The cadet received the scholarship on the basis of comprehensive tests, high school scholastic achievement, and extracurricular activities.

She is the daughter of Kenneth Mosbey and Tina Howell Mosbey of Thousand Oaks, and a 2008 graduate of La Reina High School.

•Navy Seaman Recruit Wei Zheng recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Zheng is a 2007 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School.
