Peace officers graduate in Ventura County

The Ventura County Criminal Justice Training Center recently graduated the first class of deputies for this year.

The ceremony was held at the Camarillo Community Church auditorium. Supervisor Kathy Long was the guest speaker.

The recruits completed 22 weeks of instruction provided through the combined efforts of local law enforcement agencies and other criminal justice entities. Following are the local graduating recruits.

Simi Valley Police Department: David Lee Stringer.

Ventura County Sheriff's Department: Chad J. Anderson, Christopher M. Dyer, Samir S. Haddad, Joshua C. Janca, Jonathan W. Kulhanek, John Robert Lemar, Ken A. Michelson, Jason Miller, Joseph E. Nanez, Luke E. Riordan, Selena E. Serpas and Michael J. Sinacori.
