Kiwanis hold event with ponies, books

The Kiwanis Club of Conejo Valley and Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship will present Books in the Barn from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., July 26 at Ride On, 401 Ronel Court, Newbury Park.

Books in the Barn includes storytelling, making horse puppets, petting a pony and refreshments. Children's books will be available for purchase. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Ride On to help repair their facilities.

The event is designed for children ages 2 to 8.

Admission is free and open to the public. Space is limited.
