 IRIS SMOOT/Acorn Newspapers HELPING MANNA- Robert Stirling of Thousand Oaks helps his daughter, Samantha, 2, pile carrots on her plate at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School (VBS) barbecue on Friday. VBS attendees like Samantha and her family enjoyed heaping plates of delicious food at the event, just like Manna food bank clients will. During the weeklong camp, kids participated in competitions and games to collect food and cash donations for Manna. |
