Dogs and trainers compete in Camarillo

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers HOURS OF WORK PAY DIVIDENDS- Santa Paula policeman Ryan Smith, a Thousand Oaks resident, and his German shepherd Rex compete in the open division of the Ventura County Police K-9 Trials Patrol Competition. The event occurred at Camarillo High School last Saturday. Points are awarded in obedience, non-voice commands, teamwork and working through obstacles.
