The Agoura Westlake U-12 Girls Red Rockets All Star Soccer Team won 13 tournaments this year, with a win-loss-tie record of 66-4-1, including 50 shutouts. After losing its first game to Thousand Oaks, CVLL battled back to win four straight contests, including a thrilling come-from-behind victory over Moorpark in which they were down by scores of 7-1 and 11-4, to advance to Tuesday's final against Sunset. The team's magical ride came to an end, however, as Sunset prevailed 3-1 in the championship. Said Conejo Valley head coach Charlie Shaw: "They never gave up.
