Newbury Park

A female, 29, was arrested for allegedly writing rubber checks on June 30 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

On charges of knowingly violating a restraining order, a female, 45, was cited at 9:25 p.m. June 28 in the 3400 block of Gloria Drive.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a truck between 5 and 6 p.m. June 27 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

A residential burglary occurred between May 28 and June 20 in the 200 block of Farland Drive.

Auto parts were stolen on June 27 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

Business windows were damaged by a vandal with a BB gun between May 26 and June 9 in the first block of Cindy Avenue. The incident was only recently reported.

Gang graffiti was applied to a fence on June 29 or 30 in the 3200 block of Gerald Drive. The damage was $100.

A burglar broke into a trailer and stole property between June 10 and 28 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court.

Thousand Oaks

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 43, at 10:35 p.m. June 28 on Olsen Road, east of the 23 Freeway; a female, 43, at 10:55 p.m. June 28 while driving southbound on Wendy Drive near Borchard Road; a male, 36, at 2:30 a.m. June 29 at the intersection of Hillcrest and Moorpark Road; and a female, 49, at 11:29 p.m. June 27 at Moorpark Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 18, at 2:05 a.m. June 20 in the 200 block of Lynn Oaks Road (also cited for possession); a male, 50, at 3:05 p.m. June 28 in the parking lot of McDonald's near Moorpark and Janss roads; a male, 27, at 6:15 p.m. June 28 in the 600 block of Hanover Avenue; a female, 21, at 10:40 a.m. June 26 in the 1400 block of Rancho Lane (subject reportedly possessed a small amount of a black tarlike substance with a piece of tin foil and an empty pen with residue inside, and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and a smoking device); a male, 48, at 7:20 a.m. June 26 in the 1300 block of La Jolla Street.

A woman, 31, allegedly drove a stolen car and led police on a chase. The subject endangered the lives of five juveniles while she was being pursued, according to police, and later resisted arrest when she was apprehended at 8:50 a.m. June 29 in the 700 block of Calle Arnapola.

For reportedly hitting someone in the face with a drill and causing injury, a male, 42, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and violating a restraining order at 1:20 p.m. June 29 in the 2600 block of Castillo Circle.

On charges of possessing a stolen credit card near the area where vehicle burglaries were reported, a male, 19, was arrested at 4:30 a.m. June 29 at Avenida de Las Plantas and Avenida de Las Flores.

A male, 20, was arrested on charges in connection with a battery investigation at 7:30 p.m. June 26 in the 1000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

Two males, both 20, were allegedly breaking tiles on the rooftop of a supermarket in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road around 2:48 a.m. July 1. They were cited for vandalism and trespassing.

A male, 23, was arrested and charged with grand theft at 2:35 p.m. June 30 at East Valley Sheriff's Station regarding a crime committed April 8 in the 1600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A wallet was stolen between 9:30 and 10 p.m. June 26 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Property valued at more than $400 was stolen between April 1 and April 30 in the 3500 block of N. Moorpark Road. The crime was only recently reported.

Vandals entered a building on Los Cerritos Middle School's campus, stole property, vandalized the inside of the building and used a marker to tag the outside of the area before setting fire to debris and causing more damage on June 29.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Around 7 a.m. June 26 in the 400 block of Rolling Oaks Drive (unlocked); between 8 and 9:30 a.m. June 26 in the first block of Knollwood Drive (unlocked); on June 24 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road; on June 16 or 17 in a parking lot at the corner of Mountclef Boulevard and Olsen Road; on June 26 or 27 in the 700 block of Shadow Lakes Drive (unlocked, wallet stolen); on June 26 or 27 in the 300 block of Camino Manzanas (GPS system and a wallet were stolen); between 2:30 and 3:13 a.m. June 29 in the 1300 block of Calle Bouganvilla (unlocked); and on June 29 in the 1100 block of Calle Pensamiento (unlocked).

A vandal caused at least $1,600 in damages to four vehicles on June 27 in the 800 block of Cheltenham Circle.

Ketchup, mustard and whipped cream were squirted on two vehicles, the sidewalk and garage door on June 27 or 28 in the 2900 block of Heavenly Ridge Street.

The side mirror of a vehicle was stolen on June 27 in the 300 block of Flittner Circle. The loss was estimated at $196.

A burglar broke into a locked container and stole property from five victims on June 25 or 26 in the first block of Taylor Court.

A mailbox was vandalized on June 28 or 29 in the 400 block of Gladstone Drive.

Property valued at $200 was damaged on June 28 or 29 on Avenida de Las Plantas and Calle Pensamiento.

Graffiti vandalism was discovered on June 30 between the 1500 and 1600 blocks of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Graffiti was applied by a vandal on June 29 or 30 in the 2300 block of Calle Alucema. The damage estimate was more than $400.

Property from a garage was stolen on June 28 in the 3100 block of Fort Courage.

A vandal caused more than $400 in damages to Conejo Elementary School on June 25 or 26.

For committing petty theft, a male, 19, was cited at 9 p.m. June 30 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

For being drunk in public, a male, 36, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. June 28 in the 1400 block of Rancho Lane.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 69, was arrested and charged with battery at 3:30 p.m. June 26 on Westlake Boulevard near the 101 Freeway.

A burglar drilled a hole in a door, entered a structure and stole property on June 27 or 28 in the 1200 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
