The American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to assist with blood drives. An informational meeting for volunteers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tues., July 15 at the Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Volunteers do not handle blood or needles. Their duties include donor registration, paperwork maintenance or assisting with refreshments in the canteen.

Volunteers may choose to participate in blood drives on the dates and times that fit their schedule.
