Thousand Oaks woman, 36, drowns in hot tub

Kimberly Magers, 36, drowned accidentally in a hot tub at her home in the 3100 block of Sunset Hills Boulevard, authorities said. Sheriff 's deputies wercalled to the scene by her husband at around 7:30 a.m. SatJune 28, where she was pronounced dead, said Detective Erik Buschow, spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff 's Department.

Deputy Ventura County Medical Examiner Shasta Gainer said Magers died accidentally from asphyxiation by drowning, with alcohol consumption as a possible factor.
