List honors students
      Boston University has named the following local students to the dean's list for the spring semester. Newbury Park: Allison M. Banister, Nanci E. Maxim. Thousand Oaks: Brendan W. Callahan, Brittany M. Irshay. Boston University is the fourth largest independent university in the nation, with more than 29,000 students in 17 schools and colleges.

      Forsooth and far out! The 12th season of the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival kicked off last weekend with the frothy comedy "As You Like It," directed by Kevin P. Kern in his festival directorial debut. The Bard's classic words are accompanied by music and clothing from the 1970s and performed outdoors at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.
