IRIS SMOOT/Acorn Newspapers AFRICA'S ORPHANS SPONSORED- Yolande Brizendine of Agoura and her daughter Karis, 9, look at photos of orphans affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic who are being cared for at the Lily of the Valley Children's Village in South Africa. They were trying to choose a child to sponsor at Sunday's LoVEFest at Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks.
