Oaks Chamber Singers to host auditions
      The Oaks Chamber Singers will host auditions through Aug. 8 for singers interested in performing in this ensemble of about 28 singers. The ensemble is the only chamber group in the area and won the Excellence in the Arts Award from the Thousand Oaks Arts Commission in 2006.

Conejo Players hold auditionfor 'Alice in Wonderland Jr.'
      The Conejo Players will hold auditions for "Alice in Wonderland Jr." at 5:30 p.m. Sun. through Tues., July 6 through 8 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. Performance dates are Oct. 4 through 12, Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m., as well as Fri., Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. and two daytime performances for schools on Oct. 8.

Summer concerts to be held at Janss Marketplace
      Janss Marketplace will sponsor free Janss Summer Jams outdoor concerts and raffles from 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday through Aug. 27 at the shopping center at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
