What to do on July 4

The Conejo Recreation and Park District will present a variety of activities on Fri., July 4.

•Pancake breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m., Borchard Community Center, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park. $3 adults, $2 children and seniors. For information, call (805) 381-2791.

•Home Run Derby for men and women, Field No. 2, Borchard Community Park, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park. Registration from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Fee of $5. For information, call (805) 495-4674.

•Senior Home Run Derby, Field No. 1, Borchard Community Park, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park. Registration from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and competition from 9 to 11 a.m. For seniors age 50 and over. Fee of $4. For information, call (805) 3812744.

•Free family open swim from noon to 4 p.m. at Thousand Oaks High School pool, 2323 Moorpark Road, and Newbury Park High School pool, 456 Reino Road. For information, call (805) 495-4674.

•Fourth of July Concert in the Park, 5 p.m., Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Ave., Thousand Oaks. Conejo Pops Orchestra with conductor Elmer Ramsey and also the Sherwood Singers. Free. For information, call (805) 381-1247 or (805) 495-2163.
