New chef takes charge

UNIVERSITY VILLAGE
EXECUTIVE CHEF-
Roushdy Shenouda will be responsible for all aspects of
daily kitchen operations
at University Village
Thousand Oaks, including
quality control, purchasing, food preparation, scheduling,
catering for special events
and management
of staff. All selections are created to support the dietary
guidelines and needs of the
facility's active seniors. University Village encourages
residents to comment on the
food and service on a daily
basis using specially
designed comment cards.
Shenouda is a veteran of the
food service and hospitality industry, including experience
with multimillion-dollar upscale establishments.
