Jackie Lomax to play Ojai Rock Fest
      The fourth annual Ojai Rock Fest '08, featuring Liverpool artist Jackie Lomax, the first musician to sign with Apple Records, is scheduled from noon to 10 p.m. Sat., July 12 at downtown Ojai's Libbey Bowl. This event is a benefit for the Easter Seals Tri-Counties Aquatics Center and the Ojai Performing Arts Theater.

      Chef Alberto Vazquez of Mediterraneo restaurant in Westlake Village will host the restaurant's Culinary Arts Series for children and adults at the restaurant, 32037 Agoura Road, Westlake Village. Adults' classes will be held at 2 and 6 p.m. Children's classes will be at 11 a.m. for ages 5 to 8 and 2 p.m. for ages 9 to 12.
