JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers SMOOTH SAILING- Conejo Elementary School student Kellen Gomez, 9, maneuvers a remote-controlled sailboat at The Lakes in Thousand Oaks. Sailboats are available on weekends all summer long at the shopping center which is next door to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
