LOCAL SQUIRREL STANDS UP FOR HER RIGHT TO STEAL BIRDSEED- Sandy Barry of Thousand Oaks has a backyard squirrel who's showing signs of climbing the tree of evolution. She takes a daily stretch, Sandy says, to rob the bird feeder. "She even attempts her theft of seed by hanging upside down from the branch above."
