Jewish Center dedicates new Torah scroll
      The Chabad-Thousand Oaks Jewish Center will dedicate and induct for ritual use a newly completed Torah scroll at 11 a.m. Sun., June 22 in Thousand Oaks. The event will begin in a private home near Chabad where the scroll will be completed.

B'nai B'rith to meet
      B'nai Brith of Conjeo Valley will meet at 7 p.m. Mon., June 23 at Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. The meeting will include musical entertainment by two singer/actors, Eliot and Harriet Spero. The Speros are professionals with many years of experience on local stages and in cabarets.

Lutherans host Vacation Bible School for Kids
      Ascension Lutheran Church will sponsor a Vacation Bible School for all children age 3 to sixth grade from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day, Mon. through Fri., July 14 to 18 at the church, 1600 E. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks. The community is welcome.
