After the FBI put out their annual Uniform Crime Report earlier this month, various groups got busy ranking cities that participated in the survey to show which were the safest. LOCAL SQUIRREL STANDS UP FOR HER RIGHT TO STEAL BIRDSEED- Sandy Barry of Thousand Oaks has a backyard squirrel who's showing signs of climbing the tree of evolution. She takes a daily stretch, Sandy says, to rob the bird feeder. "She even attempts her theft of seed by hanging upside down from the branch above."
