Sunset dinners coming to Reagan Library
      The Reagan Library has announced the schedule for its summer Sunset Dinners. All dinners will be held at the library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance. Special prices for children under 10 are available.

Historical movie coming to Thousand Oaks
     A LOOK BACK IN HISTORY- Pat Noriyuki Morita, right, appears in "Only the Brave." The Ventura County Japanese American Citizens League (VCJACL) will host a 2 p.m. viewing of the 90-minute film on Sun., July 13 at the Teledyne Auditorium, 1049 Camino Dos Rios, in Thousand Oaks. The movie is about Japanese Americans who served and sustained high casualities for the U.S. in World War II. The cost will be $7 for VCJACL members, $10 for others and $5 for students with identification. A question-and-answer period will follow.

Thousand Oaks Farmers' Markestill doing well in new location
      Last week I visited the Thousand Oaks Farmers' Market at its temporary location. The market used to be in the parking lot at The Oaks mall but is now on the rooftop of the Conejo Recreation and Park District building, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive.
