Free meeting helps high-risk families

ACTION Family Counseling hosts a free weekly meeting for families in crisis from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in room D-12 at Newbury Park High School, 456 Reino Road, Newbury Park.

The program works with families to identify and treat high-risk behaviors such as drug and alcohol related problems, truancy and school issues, teen anger, defiance and rebellion, criminal activity and gang behaviors.

Meetings are free and no reservations are required.
