Endowment fund application period coming to close

The city of Thousand Oaks Sports Facilities Endowment Fund grants application period will end at 5 p.m. Mon., June 30.

All applications from local nonprofit groups seeking funds for capital improvements to local sports facilities must be received by the deadline.

The city sets aside $100,000 each year to award to organizations for projects that benefit sports teams or organizations within the city.

Applications will be reviewed by the Community Funding Review Committee in July and its recommendations will go to the City Council in September.
