Best of Marmonte honored for spring

The Marmonte League has announced its All-League teams in baseball, softball, boys' tennis, boys' golf and boys' volleyball.

Many area athletes were recognized for their accomplishments during the season. Here's a rundown of the local players that made the squads:

Baseball

Player of the Year: Jett Bandy of Thousand Oaks.

Pitcher of the Year: Greg Selarz of Calabasas.

Coaches of the Year: Matt La Belle of Simi Valley; Frank Mutz of Thousand Oaks.
