Numerous Thousand Oaks residents make dean's list Dana DiProspero of Thousand Oaks is listed on the 2008 spring semester dean's list at the University of Portland. DiProspero is a senior majoring in secondary education. Students need at least a 3.5 grade-point average to make the dean's list. The University of Portland is Oregon's Catholic university, and offers a college of arts and sciences, a graduate school and schools of business, education, engineering and nursing. Jessica Gallippo of Thousand Oaks has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2008 semester at the University of the Cumberlands. Full-time students who have gained a cumulative scholastic standing of 3.5 and have no grades of "I" are eligible for the dean's list. University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky., is a private liberal arts college with four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study and nine preprofessional programs. Lindsay Adamski of Thousand Oaks has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2008 semester at Providence College. To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade-point average with a minimum of 12 credits. Providence College in Providence, R.I., is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. |
