N.P. resident graduates from Rhodes

Caleb Standafer III of Newbury Park graduated at the 159th commencement exercises of Rhodes College.

Rhodes president William E. Troutt presided over the ceremony held in Fisher Garden on the school's Memphis, Tenn., campus.

Standafer graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. The son of Caleb and Marijo Standafer completed honors research and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Rhodes is a liberal arts and sciences college .
