Johns Hopkins recognizes T.O. student
Thousand Oaks resident Joshua Rose, a student at Madrona Elementary School, was recently honored at a statewide awards ceremony for gifted children held by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth. Joshua was invited to the ceremony based on his performance on the SCAT, an above-grade-level test given to second- through sixth-grade participants. The Center for Talented Youth is a nonprofit center at John Hopkins University that offers educational programming for students with high academic ability. |
