Honors given at CLU

The Honors Day Convocation at California Lutheran University on May 16 highlighted the scholastic achievements of several students.
New members elected for the Scholastic Honor Society include Carmen Gonzalez, a psychology major from Simi Valley, and Kristina Klug, a math major from Simi Valley. The society is the highest academic honor at CLU. Students qualify by maintaining a grade-point average of at least 3.9 on a 4.0 scale.
Amy Michelle Lever, valedictorian of the Class of 2008, was presented the Provost's Award for Academic Excellence. Lever is an English major and a resident of Newbury Park.
